Why did the name change?

We are changing the name of Boomr to better showcase what we do: best-in-class time tracking for you and your team. After our acquisition by Justworks, we are spending even more time and resources on streamlining important business functions like time tracking, payroll and invoice reporting, and more. Our new name will help stand for what you are already doing with our product, saving hours of work each month and finishing payroll with confidence.

Is there anything I have to start doing differently when using Justworks Hours? What if my mobile app isn't updating?

The mobile app name is now Justworks Hours (Formerly Boomr) on Android devices and Justworks Hours (Boomr) on Apple devices. If you have auto-updates on your phone, you’ll see the latest version of the app in the next few days. If the app hasn’t updated, please go directly to the Apple or Android store or search “Justworks Hours” on your app store to update now.

What about Boomr’s integrations with payroll and HR providers?

Justworks Hours is continuing to support all of Boomr's payroll, accounting, and HR system integrations, including providers like Gusto, QuickBooks Online, and BambooHR for legacy customers.

After November 15, 2022, Justworks Hours will only be available for customers who use Justworks for PEO services.
